Ah, Joie de Vivre! The Joy of Life!
|
MayaJoëlle is a certified "Music for People" teacher and a master teaching artist for the CT Commission on the Arts. She has been studying Energy Healing since 1978 and assists individuals in their healing/growth process using intuitive guidance, Reike, voice, the DreamWeaver(a vibro-acoustic mattress combining music and sacred geometry) as well as other modalities.
I was born and raised in Lorraine France, among a family of musicians. I was so infused with an early imprint of Joie de Vivre *Joy of Life*, that this quality remained through lifes many challenges, and to this day, permeates my lifework.
Among the many passions I have explored and danced with, these two are strong objects of focus:
I graduated from David Darlings
Music for People Musicianship and
Leadership Program in 1993. Working with David Darling was like being back home
to myself. Many of the creative expressions that were a second nature to me
as a child turned into techniques They allowed me to learn to create a space
for participants to safely and freely explore and develop their ability to be
in the moment, allowing their Voice as an instrument, to express the innate
musician. And yet, I did find large, creative, beautiful rooms I didnt
know existed. See www.musicforpeople.org
Cellist David Darling, Paul Winter as well as Bobby Mc Ferrin and his Voicestra
have been some of the teachers who have inspired me and had a strong influence
on using my voice as an instrument
I have been studying Energy Healing since 1978 with various teachers and assists
individuals in their healing/growth process using Reike, voice and the Dream
Weaver www.dreamweaving.com , anaccoustic
mattress combining music and sacred geometry) as well as other modalities, but
mostly intuitive guidance.
